Resume ReviewConversational
Started off with some small talk with the 2 interviewers they seemed young and both of them also went to UofT so I felt a bit less nervous. Basic interview walked them through my resume they wanted me to elaborate on one of my past SWE experiences like what I did there, what I learned and how it helped me in knowing what I wanted to do after I graduate. Then a pseudo technical question it wasn't leetcode but I could tell they probably just pulled a problem from the website so it was more talk out loud how would you do this kind of thing (linked list question) then they let me ask questions during the last 5-10 mins I would say have questions prepared because they expect you will ask.

Had a strong experience interviewing with Tokio Marine Canada. This company did the interview process in a unique way, by first hosting a zoom session for all interested applicants to provide an understanding of the surety industry. I highly recommend asking questions during this session if you come across something like this in the future. The interview itself was relatively straightforward with standard behavioural questios and 1-2 technical questions. You should be fine for these questions as long as you have a general understanding of financial statements

They sent the interview questions beforehand which was helpful. Part of it included a powerpoint you would create beforehand. Interview was 1 hour long.
I was a part of the finance team, was quite low on work so had to find ways to spend my time. Was not a very technical role, more so involved helping co-workers with their tasks, manual entry, learning the tools they use like TPON. Did not have any co-op supports at the start in terms of meeting with the other co-ops, or any training sessions. You would learn how to do a task from your manager/co-worker directly. Were some online training modules.

The recruitment process was quite seamless beginning with the application process. I then had the opportunity to complete a self-assessment survey, gauging some of my personality traits, and employee behaviours, which acted as an initial screening step. My interview was with two members of who would be my direct team, including my supervisor, and one the Senior Key Account Managers. A mix of behavioural and technical questions were asked during the interview, with some time left for me to ask some of my questions.

Case studyBehavioralMultiple rounds
Applied through the campus portal, first round was a 30 min behavioral with the manager. Questions like tell me about a time you led a team, why consulting, why Deloitte etc.. Second round was a case it was about a grocery chain expanding into a new province and I had to estimate market size and recommend an entry strategy. They really wanted you to just be able to think and see your process rather than only getting the right answer. Heard back within 2.5 weeks
Multi-stage interview
First round was with HR, I was asked standard behavioural questions about myself and my interest in the role.
Second round was a technical interview. Had to complete 2 easy/medium array manipulation-type coding questions on the spot and walk through my approach. Next I was asked some theoretical questions relating to statistics and data manipulation (topics included variance, confusion matrix ,etc). The last question was a logic puzzle about pouring water in a cup.
